Haruna Shrine
Haruna Shrine is one of Gunma's most dramatic sacred sites, built into a narrow ravine where ancient cedar trees, towering rock formations, and waterfall mist create an otherworldly atmosphere. The main hall sits directly beneath the massive Misugata Rock, which appears to defy gravity.
The oldest cedar on the grounds is estimated to be 1,200 years old.
